Bethany immediately became a role model within her chapter as the president of her Spring 2007 new member class, guiding her peers through their initiation into Greek life. With knowledge and experience behind her, Bethany took on a similar role as the new member coordinator helping to ease the adjustment period for new members as they become emerged in Greek and college life. For the duration of 2008, Bethany has been responsible for electing executive and chapter offices as the chair of Pi Phi’s Leadership and Nominating Committee.

In APO she has also been the pledge master and service coordinator. Due to her goal of always setting an example for others while raising the bar of expectations and her commitment to APO, Bethany has had more service hours than any other member of Pi Beta Phi.
