Governing Councils

 

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) was founded in 1930 and is the governing council for the “Divine Nine” historically African American fraternities and sororities. The UConn NPHC was re-chartered in September 2007. These national organizations intake new members at various times of the year. Currently, there are six of the nine (three fraternities and three sororities) registered on campus.
